Dinghies Beware: The North Pacific Will Continue to See Choppy Ocean Conditions Through the Weekend

The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Strong winds will continue through the weekend causing choppy seas in the North Pacific area of Costa Rica.

A rough seas alert was issued by the Emergency Commission and the University of Costa Rica.

The CIMAR oceanographer, Omar Lizano, warns that the greatest danger is for small boats.

On the South and Central Pacific coast conditions will be normal. No rough seas are expected in the Gulf of Nicoya, either.

In the case of the Caribbean, winds could increase next week, making navigation difficult.
