The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – This week Condé Nast Traveler pinned down the top locations in the world to have a destination wedding. Costa Rica made that top 10 list, placing at number 9.
To acquire the most sought after destination wedding spots, Condé Nast surveyed 1,000 brides planning to say their “I do’s” abroad in 2015.
In their slideshow, the travel site notes, “Central and South America have yet to attract much attention from wedding seekers, but Costa Rica is an exception. Adventurous couples love it for its surfing, volcano hiking, and ziplining—activities that their wedding guests will certainly want to test out. Not all areas are easily accessible, so keep that in mind when looking for venues.”
Costa Rica and Mexico were the only Latin American countries to be nominated. The other locations that made the cut were: Italy, Las Vegas, the Florida Keys, Anguilla, the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Hawaii.
