The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Tomorrow marks World Tourism Day which is why the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) will be celebrating by offering all kinds of deals for tourists on their Facebook page.
According to Luis Jara, manager of Public Relations of ICT, on Saturday they will launch 40 new developments.
“This September 27th is going to see more than 40 exclusive specials rates on Facebook for sightseeing in Costa Rica. There will be offers for theme parks, rural tourism, hotels, benefits, and rental cars, among others,” said Jara.
Some of these promotions apply to this particular weekend but many of the others expire within a month. Tourist destinations are from all over the country, he said.
“The idea is that Ticos celebrate Tourism Day and see all the country from the South Pacific to the north,” said Jara.
Jara said that they plan on doing raffles as well where participants must change their profile picture in order to be eligible for the giveaways.
