5.3 earthquake southeast of Orotina Costa Rica Early AM
At 1:08 a.m., a 5.3 earthquake, located 6 km southeast of Orotina, reported the Volcanological and Seismological of Costa Rica (OVSICORI).
That organization said that its origin was by subduction.
Meanwhile, the Earthquake Engineering Laboratory of the University of Costa Rica reported three earthquakes this morning, one at 00:49 am with a magnitude of 3.4, the effect at 1:08 am
and another at the 1:33 a.m. , which the OVSICORI was 3.2 degrees, located 2 km south of Hacienda Vieja Orotina in Alajuela.
The earthquake caused no damage.
